Thermodynamic generators with electric compression for heating and/or cooling of premises and/or the production of domestic hot water (c-PCR under PCR 2024:06)

This c-PCR is an adoption of PSR-0013-ed3.2-EN-2025 10 20 for Thermodynamic generators with electric compression for heating and/or cooling of premises and/or the production of domestic hot water (c-PCR under PCR 2024:06) from PEP Ecopassport. It is a c-PCR under main PCR 2024:06 Electronic and electric equipment, and electronic components from 2026-06-22.

This c-PCR comprises the following devices: Heat pumps, hybrid heat pumps, air conditioners (without energy recovery function), VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) units with a distinction between indoor and outdoor units, chillers, rooftops.

These devices can be reversible or not, using air, water, or brine as cold and/or heat sources, and all involve the use of a refrigerant.

For rooftops, cooling and heating functions are provided thanks to thermodynamic cycle.
